This section of the Book of Ecclesiastes represents one complete thought in applying wisdom to all of the myriad areas of life. The scattered nature of the text accurately reflects the nature of life as one event runs into another without any apparent point of connection. Wisdom is often despised and forgotten, but it is always better to live according to biblical wisdom avoiding the harsh consequences of folly.
