224) The Never-Ending Sin - James 5:12

Toward the end of the book of James we read something a little surprising. There's a verse that seems to come out of nowhere about honesty.
James 5:12 Above all, my brothers, do not swear--not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your "Yes" be yes, and your "No," no, or you will be condemned.
Above all? That's more important than everything else in the book including justification by faith or loving your neighbor? No. It's not above all in importance, it's above all in priority. Today we'll find out why.
