(25) Following God in a Fallen World

How do we follow God in a fallen world? That's an important question because there is no other way. We want to follow God but it is never as easy as we would like. Our sins beset us. We lack direction. At times providence confuses us.

The same sort of human limitations and shortcomings faced the apostle Paul at the beginning of his second missionary journey. The journey began with a fight and eventual split with one of his best friends. He was heading back into hostile territory. One of the co-workers he picked up along the way was young, timid and ill. To top it off, God closed one door after another.

But Paul followed God and experienced an incredibly fruitful ministry. Paul's experience can help us also follow God in a fallen world.
