Getting Out of Sodom

Intervarsity is de-recognized by California state universities. What is happening across America? In one place after another, Christianity is being pushed out and erased. Christians are not welcome in the military, in schools, etc, while all manner of wickedness is welcomed with open arms. Could it be that God is forcing Christians out of their entaglements with the ungodly before He pours out His wrath on the ungodly? Could He be dragging "Lot" Christians out of Sodom before He rains down the fire?
