God could have kept Joseph out of the prison and Daniel out of the lion's den, or Jeremiah from being thrown into the slime pit or Paul from being shipwrecked several times – but he didn't. Every one of those problems caused those individuals to draw closer to God. Everything that happens in the life of a Believer is Father-filtered; it passes through his hands and is intended for our betterment.
