The Theology of Ulrich Zwingli

In this lesson Pastor Jeff takes a historical look at the theological contributions of Zwingli. While it is true, our own church does not agree with Zwingli in regards to either baptism or the Lord's Supper -- Pastor Jeff makes the case that Zwingli did help move the theological dialogue along, for good or for ill.

In the first half of the lesson, Pastor Jeff deals with Zwingli's contributions in the area of baptism.

The second half deals with his views of the Lord's Supper and his controversy with Luther.

Pastor Jeff argues that, while we may disagree with Zwingli's conclusions, we can be thankful for his attempts to prove all things by the Scriptures alone.
