What in the World is a Pastor?

There are five kinds of pastors or elders in the world:

1. The Guy in the Academic Herring Bone Jacket who downloads what he learned in seminary each Sunday.

2. The Guy in the Pointy Hat, and nobody knows what he does.

3. The Guy in Tennis Shoes, who can tell funny stories and keep everybody engaged and make them feel good for 20 minutes on a Sunday.

4. The Guy in the Pin-Striped Business Suits, managing the assets of the church.

5. And then there is the Guy in the Muddy Boots mucking around in the pasture.
