God's Great Love Manifested

Last week we saw God's Salvation has Rescued Us from the Greatest Possible Depths v. 1-3. We saw that man without salvation is:
a. Absolutely not alive
b. We saw that man continually sins and falls short of the target
c. We are off course
d. We are enslaved, Held Captive by the Prince of the Power of the AIR
e. And all of this leads to Doom and Destruction

God's work of salvation manifests the greatest love. In our text today we will see 4 descriptions of what that love looks like. 4 ways this love manifests itself.

1. God's Love Manifests in Mercy v.4

2. God's Love Manifests itself as GREAT. v.4

3. God's Love is Unmerited. v.5

4. God's Love is Effective v. 5-6

As a Christian don't ever doubt God's love, its mercy, greatness, power or effectiveness. Remember the great and awesome privilege we have to walk in a manner worthy of the work that Christ has done.

What has God done?

He has manifested the greatest Love. Reaching down to the greatest depths of our depravity manifesting the greatest love and raising us to the greatest place we can ever be. With Christ Jesus.

What is God's love like?
It is Great, It is Unmerited, and It is Effective.
It makes us alive and raises us up and seats us with Christ.
