Heaven & Hell, Part 1

Can you imagine a doctor who doesn't tell his patient the truth for fear of hurting his patient's feelings? What kind of doctor would that be, especially when the diagnosis could lead to a change in the prognosis. A pastor is a physician of souls. He works under the Great Physician. Physicians of the soul are not too different from physicians of the body. We make careful observations and provide a truthful diagnosis going by the Book. We care for your soul by telling you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, in love. In a time of widespread deceit, telling the truth is a courageous act. The Bible plainly states that those who do not repent of their sins and trust in Christ will spend eternity in hell. The final judgment of all people is a serious and coming reality. Yet, please know there is a way of salvation! The gospel. In a nutshell, the gospel is this: Christ took our place, bearing our sin, dying our death—so that we might share his place, be made his righteousness, taste his vindication, and experience his life. That we may be forever with Him in heaven, a world of love and joy! Unless your sins have been forgiven beforehand through faith in Jesus Christ, there will be no getting away from God's judgment on your sins.
