Getting to Know Our Eternal and Unchangeable God

Psalm 102:24-27 "...thy years are throughout all generations. 25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. 26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: 27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end."

One of the Church's pressing needs at the present hour is a biblical and personal knowledge of God. It is not simply a knowledge about God. The angel of God in Dan. 11 said “the people that do know THEIR God shall be strong and do exploits.” That's a knowledge based on a personal relationship because He is their God. And therefore any and all TRUE knowledge of God will…in fact…lead us TO God…to a fuller and deeper acquaintance with God. It will lead us to walk humbly with God. It will lead us to walk in obedience to God. It will lead us to commune with God, which means it will lead us to study His Word and pray. It will lead us to trust God. It will lead us to greater stability in our walk. It will lead us to greater peace and contentment. Most important of all: it will lead us to grow in our knowledge of CHRIST in whom “all the fullness of the Godhead dwells…and in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
