Multiplication By Compassion

Our Pastor reminds us that "splagchnizomai," innards or guts of compassion, are essential if divine multiplication is to occur. He reads the poem, "People," which he wrote on April 6, 1978 at the peak of the growth of the Northside Baptist Church in Waterloo, Canada and concludes with his account of his recent meeting with Gospel singer Michael Helwig, who grew up in that church and now has Lou Gehrig's disease.
