Your Righteousness Isn't Good Enough

The conclusion of Paul's whole opening statement in the Book of Romans can be found in verses 19-20 of chapter 3. God's law is His rule, His standard, His measuring stick and leaves us without any defense. Every mouth will be blocked before the Righteous Judge. Nobody will have a defense in the courtroom of God--we're all guilty. While the law is perfect, righteous and good, it is weak in the flesh. It brings condemnation. What's the answer? Faith and trust in Christ! There's an absolute necessity of trust in Christ's perfect righteousness.
