Isaiah 37

There was no way that the people of Israel could take on the Assyrian army. What ever your calling is, if you are seeking to do what God wants you to do, you are facing an adversary that is real and wants to destroy you. God will place His people in a place where they have no other way out but to call upon the Lord. Everyone will serve a god, it is sad if anyone chooses anyone other than the One true God. There is only one God, the Lord our God, He is one. God's power is not too small for anything. Though Satan's power is too much for us, if and when we submit to God, we will resist the Devil and he will flee from us. We need to be victorious for the glory of God. The purpose of our lives is to reveal God's glory. God, who is sovereign, chooses to use people and therefore our prayers matter. God will get the job done. When He says He will do something He will do it. Jesus died to save us and that is why we are saved. We are not to fear, our God reigns!
