What is baptism? Why do we do it?

Baptism is not essential for salvation, but it is essential for one's testimony.

If the Bible speaks nothing of infant baptism, how did it ever come about?

Although we are in great spiritual debtedness to Luther, the Reformers, and especially the Puritans, we must show that they unscripturally held on to baggage from Rome. They should have meant what they said 'Sola Scriptura!'

2. Who is to be baptized?
3. What is the mode of baptism? (Sprinkling or immersion?)
4. Why be baptized in the name of Jesus?
