God has given to each of us various abilities and authority and expects that we use them according to His intended purpose revealed in His law. Unfortunately we misuse these gifts and sin against both God and mankind. Praise be to God that Christ perfectly exercised these gifts and provided redemption and righteousness for His sinful people.
