The Promise of Jonadab

The foundations of the family in the 21st century have been utterly destroyed and utter social breakdown has been the consequence. As the Psalmist laments 'if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?' (Ps. 11:3). Thus it is the duty of Christian parents to rebuild the foundations of the family on the principles of God's Word and create a legacy such as the promise given to Jonadab by the Lord that 'Jonadab the son of Rechab shall never lack a man to stand before me.'
