The Genesis Flood and the Final Judgment of the World

Dr. John Whitcomb delivered this powerful sermon as a featured speaker at the Alpha/Omega Conference at Shasta Bible College in March of 2007. In it, he shows the importance of Biblical chronology and the power of God to change the earth through catastrophism. Our teacher explains how Noah's ark -- that great vessel of salvation for a family saved by grace -- could float even when the highest mountains were covered with water by at least 15 cubits. “The key is the ark,” Dr. Whitcomb says, showing how foolish the account of the Genesis flood becomes if that flood were local and not universal. “Noah's ark was no joke to those who survived the flood,” he states.
