Service That Glorifies God

Main Point
Until Christ returns, your assignment is to serve others in the church; minister in such a way that He gets the glory.

1. You are to live in conscious awareness that the end of all things is at hand (v. 7a)

2. In light of this, cultivate the appropriate mindset so you can pray effectively (v. 7b)

3. Love one another fervently (v. 8 with Proverbs 10:12)

4. Show genuine hospitality to one another (v. 9)

5. Serve one another with the gifts God has given you (v. 10)

6. As you serve, do so for the glory of God through Christ (v. 11)
