Jesus the Messiah

Little information is given about Jesus, his background, his miraculous birth and upbringing, or the events leading up to his baptism and temptation. Rather, Mark focuses on the bigger picture—who is this person Jesus declared and demonstrated to be? He can be no other than the Messiah, the Son of God Himself.
