It's In Your Court

Paul has established the fact that we cannot in any way provide for ourselves enough goodness to impress God.

Paul has knocked out all props from under us. If you believe your "goodness" will balance things out in the court of heaven, you are in for a very rude awakening.

The gospel message deals with our need for salvation that must come from outside of ourselves. God has provided that one and only path to salvation.
