Have No Fear

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld correctly observes that our two biggest fears are dying and public speaking. Which one is greater? Public speaking, believe it or not. That means most people would rather be in the box at a funeral than up in the pulpit delivering the eulogy! Sadly, what many professing Christians fear the most is actually the most loving thing they could ever do for another person: tell them the gospel of Jesus Christ. It brings glory to God and can lead to saving a soul from hell. Do not be afraid of evangelism. Love lost souls, honor God. Give someone a tract. Start that conversation you know you should have began long ago. Send an email or a text message. Do not be afraid, Christian. Do it before its too late.
