Jesus Wants Real Disciples. And He tells us how. Important? Oh Yes

279

Here are two items of interest. And they fall into the “Watch Therefore” category. Christ connected His second coming to Lot and Noah. Wickedness exceedingly, is what it is called. This same evil is starting to come about now. What is that evil? It may not be what you think. Forestalling indefinitely the physical death that God ordained (ending of sin). People want to live, in sin, indefinitely. That... is the great evil. Now you know one more thing for which you are to watch. So where are we? How close is the time where God will end this? The book of Revelation and the book of Daniel will be understood in the end. Our pastor goes on to explain.

Today we're in Luke 14:24-35.
A. Priority
B. Cross Beam
C. Foundation Tower
D. Surrendering King
E. Good Salt

Psalm 18:2 is where we find the theme of Deliverer. And now this pastor is going to take a few minutes to rant, and we like it.

Then we go to Psalm 61:1-3 and then on to Psalm 144:1-2. Here we have more of our Tower and Deliverer themes. All these passages have a military context to them.

So we start reading at Luke 14:28. In verse 34 Pastor tells us that in the phrase "salt have lost his savour" (KJV) you find the Greek word from where we get the word "moronic". So "lost his savour" is, "has become moronic". Okay, from here pastor gets into what the Tower is referring to, and moves on from there to what Jesus wants in a His disciples.

And from here I think you've got it. Press play and enjoy.

Be sure and write or call this pastor if you have any questions. We actually appreciate it when you do, because it encourages him (and he’ll answer questions for you that he sometimes won’t tell us).
