Pre-millennial Optimism

The one thousand year earthly rule of the Messiah is the last line of history anticipated by the Pre-millennialist. It has been suggested that a pre-millennial doctrine has the overall effect of fostering indifference in engaging the present day culture. This is clearly not the case. Pre-millennialist above all other Christians are the only ones who can passionately engage their times with a hopeful perspective. They are the only ones who can rationally rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic.
