Duties of a Biblical Minister

A minister of the Gospel should be described like David, a man after God's own heart. What are the duties that God has placed upon the minister? A minister of the Gospel should be a man of prayer, a preacher of the Word, of discipline, dspensing of divine mysteries, catechising, visiting the sick, and blessing the people of God. These are just a few of the duties that God requires of a minister of the Gospel. May the Church be ever more faithful in her mandate and may the Lord continue to call forth faithful men to preach and teach His precious Word.
