Why would God make promises to unreliable people? How come he can fulfil them? In one word, it's because of Christ. All God's promises have him mind. We must fly from any thought that we are nice people God wants to favour and trust in Christ as the big 'Yes!' to all that God wants to do. And then, say a big 'Amen!' to all he wants to do in us.
