Why Prayers Go Unanswered

This text is nothing short of astonishing. Many charismatics have abused it through the name it/claim it approach to prayer. Many Christians have therefore left the text for the charismatics to abuse and have ignored and neglected it altogether. But we cannot do this. Jesus means something and He means something wonderful. He teaches us that the primary problem in our prayer life is a lack of faith. The reason we do not receive many of the things we ask for is because we simply do not believe that we will receive them. So, the question becomes, "Why do we not believe?" and "How can we acquire this necessary faith?" This sermon attempts to answer those questions.
