Fellowship Baptist Church
Pastor R. Rubino

T.G Part 8 “Perfect Law, Imperfect People: Sola Gratia.”: Exposition-Galatians 3:10-14

1)The Bible never teaches that faith and law are contradictory. God’s moral law as summarized in the Ten Commandments is beautiful and righteous. We should study and love His law because it reveals His character. The problem is fallen Man cannot follow it perfectly therefore another means of justification is needed. (Galatians 3:10-12; Psalm 119:9-16; James 2:10)

2)Jesus Christ had to become a curse for sinful Men. Our Savior destroyed the works of the Devil and redeemed us from the power of sin. Jesus saved us from the judgment of a righteous God. Regardless of how “Good” we are at times none of us follow God’s Law completely. (Galatians 3:13;Matthew 19:16-26; Dante’s Inferno)

3)All Men and Women are justified by faith in the complete work of Jesus Christ. The three great rivalries to true Christianity Popery, Rabbinical Judaism, and Islam, still teach a works righteousness. The five Pillars, Seven sacraments, or Torah observance cannot justify us , only the work of the Messiah!(Galatians 3:14,26-29)
