First Plague: Water to Blood (Sermon #8)

30

As the confrontation between the LORD (and his servant Moses) and Pharaoh (and the gods of Egypt continues, we see an escalation in this spiritual struggle. Back in Exodus 5:2 Pharaoh boasts, 'Who is the LORD that I should listen to Him and let His people go?'

An aspect of this spiritual struggle that I discuss in this sermon is the real presence of evil and even demonic power and what our attitude should be toward it. The Word of God is clear, 'We do not struggle against flesh and blood, but powers and principalities....'

We will see:

  1. The Purpose of this Plague
  2. The Wonder of this Plague
  3. The Affect of this Plague
