A hopeless storm

As this portion of scripture opens Paul is a prisoner on his way to Rome, bound for the sake of the gospel. He is traveling with Dr. Luke and Aristarchus under orders from Jesus personally, Acts 23:11. Just because one is following Jesus and surrounded by fellow Christians does not mean there won't be trouble ahead. A good Christian knows he must follow Jesus' orders no matter the cost, even when it is obvious a storm is waiting up ahead.
