23 - Commands for Elders

One of Peter's last encounters with the resurrected Christ was when he heard the question, "Do you love me?" and then he heard Christ say, "Feed my sheep." In the New Testaments, pastors are called shepherds, bishops, elders, or overseers. These titles are synonymous for one another. God has some specific guidance for those who would serve as elders in their church. Pastor Robert Rohlin uses the imperative verbs of 1 Peter 5:1-4 to highlight the duties of an elder.
