What's Your Story?

The gospels are written narrative form because human beings are story-oriented. We learn best by story. The gospels represent a life-giving narrative in stark contrast to the many alternative, life-destroying narratives in the world, all from which Jesus died to free us. We must, therefore, identify the family, educational, political, social, and yes, even religious narratives that stand in opposition to the gospel narrative and free ourselves from that for which Jesus died to deliver us.
