Our Pastor Emeritus suggests that David had the kingdom internally, in the hearts of the people, long before he was officially and externally crowned at Hebron. He further observes that "leaders" who have to flaunt their "leadership" and hit their followers over the head with it are not really leaders at all. They are, rather, insecure wanna-be's or sad used-to-be's.
