From Groaning to Glory

In this life, we suffer because of our sin nature (in ourselves, others, and due to the curse over all Creation), even though we may be saved. Becoming saved does not eliminate the sin nature. In some sense, it makes it more obvious because we are concerned about our failures, our sin.

Paul tells us in Romans that are present sufferings will turn out to be less than nothing compared to the incomparable grace and perfection that are ours in glory.
