The Judgment Of Jericho

In Joshua 6, we see judgment fall upon Jericho. Outside Jericho, we see the power of God and victory. Inside Jericho, we see people under judgment and utter devastation with one notable exception. This scene gives us a foreshadowing of the final judgment of God upon sin. We learn the following concerning God's judgment:

1. The judgment was predicted
2. The judgment was just
3. The judgment was delayed for a period of time
4. The judgment brought destruction
5. The judgment had a deliverance
