An Introduction to 1 Samuel

This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs as he began his new series in the Book of 1 Samuel. This message includes a historical background as well as four real and practical themes that run throughout the book and give us insight into the application of this to our lives.By means of introduction to this wonderful book of the Scriptures, it is clear that it focuses around three major characters, Samuel, Saul, and David. We can see that this book is concerned with a crucial shift in the history of Israel,and as such a new era in the sovereign grand plan of redemption. A helpful overview to set the scene for the coming series God-willing.
