Revelation 14:6-20

Vs6: another angel was floating in midair, pronouncing an everlasting gospel. The age of grace has passed, and the angel is telling people that judgment is about to occur. God is going to judge the world, set up His kingdom on His terms, and rule forever after, whether we like it or not. No matter what the UN or the world leaders do today to bring peace to the mideast, it doesn't matter. God's Kingdom is coming whether people like it or not.
Mat24:14. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Vs7: FEAR GOD. And give HIM His glory. He is not “the old man upstairs” or anything else like that. You will tremble when you are before Him, His power is so great. Fear has its place. When your kids fear you, they know you mean business. We should fear God, because He means business. By the laws of physics as we know them today, we should disintegrate to dust, but God holds us together somehow.
Vs8: Babylon exists today; our soldiers are there right now. This verse says Babylon has fallen. Is this the same Babylon of today? A lot of scholars believe it is.
Turn to Rev 11:8—“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” This is Jerusalem. Sometimes in scripture, a current modern day city has the same attributes as an ancient city. Listen to more on our MP3!
