High Church, Low Church, Or Might There Just be No Church?

This is no Dr. Seuss Sermon! Mainline Protestants are (to stereotype) politically and morally liberal, liturgically conservative and theologically faithless. Evangelicals are politically and morally conservative, liturgically liberal and theologically naïve. It is strange that evangelicals are so liberal when it comes to the worship of God and the doctrine of the church. If those who profess inerrancy in God's word and a belief that all that the word contains is both relevant and sufficient for our lives, what is to happen when these same people abandon God's commands regarding how he desires to be worshiped and seek to establish parachurch organizations to replace that which Christ established so long ago?
