The Fourfold Witness (John 5:30-6:15)

We heard last time from the first part of John 5 that Jesus claims to be equal with God. He healed the man who had been an invalid for 38 years – and in so doing "called God his own Father, making himself equal with God."

Jesus wants you to understand who he is! He is the only-begotten Son of God. He is the one who was with the Father in the beginning. He is the one who has come down from heaven in order that you might be saved!

But he starts off by talking about the importance of testimony...
