God's Salvation in Christ

1. The wonderful blessing of God's salvation in Christ
   a. 1 Thessalonians 1 verse 9: "For God hath not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ"

   • It delivers men from the wrath and judgement of God to come.

2. The only grounds of God's salvation in Christ.
   a. God's salvation is only granted to the sinner on the grounds of Christ's finished work of redemption on Calvary.
   b. Romans 5 verse 8+9
   c. Christ died willingly, painfully, and atoningly.

3. The glorious prospect of God's salvation.
   a. 1 Thessalonians 1 verse 10: " Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him."

4. How we become recipients of Gods salvation.
   a. By believing, trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior.
