Nine Truths and a Sound Mind

Early in Paul's letter we find two contrasting emotions: fear and a sound mind. He followed this, not with a "how to formula", but with a series of truths essential to living with a sound mind. He concluded these with a word of assurance regarding being kept by the Holy Spirit who "dwells in us". He guides to truth, enables God's elect to believe the truth and comforts them by truth.
