The Holy Spirit Possesses & Exhibits the Attributes of a Person (Intelligence)
-He has intelligence
-He has the ability to know & understand reality
-He knows & searches the things of God
-He has a mind
-He is able to teach people
-He shows feelings
-He can be grieved by the sinful actions of believers
-He has the ability to experience emotion
-An influence, power or force cannot be grieved
-The HS has a will
-He distributes gifts to the body of Christ
The Holy Spirit Possesses & Exhibits the Attributes of a Person (Will)
-The HS directs the activities of Christians
-Exhibits the Actions of a Person
-convicts of sin
-personally performs miracles
-personally prays for us
The Holy Spirit is Described in a Way Only a Person Would Be
-The HS is Obeyed
-The HS can be lied to People resist Him
-can be made sad
-can be insulted & blasphemed
-You cannot do these actions to anything but a person
He Relates to others as a person would
-To the Apostles
-To Jesus
-To the Trinity
-To Himself
He processes the attributes that belong to God alone
-Omniscience
-Omnipresence
-Omnipotent through His work in Creation
-Eternal
-Truth
His Actions are Those that Only God Can Perform
-He caused of the Virgin Birth
-the Agent in giving the inspired Scriptures
-His Actions are Those that Only God Can Perform
-involved in the Creation of the world
His Associations with the Other Persons of the Godhead Demonstrate Deity
-The HS as Yahweh.
-The HS & God
-Equality with God
-The HS is God as the Bible says
-He is a person & He is God
