Responding to Personal Attacks

Have you ever been falsely accused? Have you ever been slandered? Have you ever had to deal with someone at work or at school or elsewhere who seemed to hate you without cause---a person to whom you had done no wrong, and toward whom you bore no ill will, but a person who had somehow become your enemy---someone who, no matter how hard you tried to keep peace, seemed to be bent on war? Then you may be able to relate somewhat to the things David was experiencing when he wrote Psalm 35. He was dealing with people who not only hated him without cause, but who actually sought his life.
