"acted in ignorance". Peter shows that God is a
forgiving God, granting opportunity for repentance

John the Baptist, Jesus and all the Apostles preached
that people should repent from their sin.

Peter gives thre blessings that come with repentance:

1. Sins are blotted out
2. Times of refreshing (receive Holy Spirit,freedom)
3. Eternal Life when Christ comes again

Peter closes by showing in Old Testament that Jesus
is the fullfilment of past promises and that God's
covenant is available to all people
