Overview of Pentecost

We set forth four primary observations of the Day of Pentecost to guide us through the modern day confusion on the issue:

1.  The day of Pentecost was the final installment of the Trinitarian provisions for our salvation
   

before the great Day when the entire invisible church shall be glorified.
2. The Holy Spirit brought especially to the Apostles the necessary and sufficient tools to complete their commission.
3. Pentecost was the beginning of a new Age of inward illumination by the Spirit.
4. Pentecost Sunday brought to the world her very first Great Awakening.
