The Only Son of God

This teaching calls our attention to the biblical bases for the next phrases in the Nicene Creed: "We believe ... in the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made." This is a statement about the Lord Jesus Christ that has been confessed by multitudes of Bible-believing Christians from many cultures, origins, and ethnicities for 1,700 years. It is worthy of our careful attention today.
