07-‘New-Covenant Theology Isn't Monolithic'

In a recent interview, 1 Richard Barcellos spoke somewhat
disparagingly about new-covenant theology because it is not
monolithic. 2 This, in effect, can only mean that new-covenant
theology cannot be taken seriously. In addition, I suppose,
Barcellos is contrasting it to covenant theology, implying –
boasting? – that the latter is monolithic. I think a comment is
called for.
