Grace When Things are Hard

Because so many of us have been going through significant challenges with health, family, and other issues, one of my fellow elders suggested that I preach about facing our trials in faith.

Tomorrow I will be giving an overview of James 1:2-18 (which had been covered in several sermons early last year). You will face trials, but you can be comforted that God is at work in your hard circumstances. It is crucial that you seek God's wisdom so that you will benefit from your trials. Finally, it is important that you never lose sight of God's goodness.
