The Unforgiving Servant

We conclude our summertime series on the parables of our Lord with a most
troublesome and disturbing parable. The parable itself is very clear, even
unmistakable. It is troubling to us because it so very clearly speaks about us. It reveals
our own unforgiving spirits and troublesome hearts. It shows us how badly we all need
the forgiveness spoken of in this parable.
