The Great Exchange

Paul continues to expand his teaching on the human body - he likens it to an earthly tent, revealing its temporary nature. This is contrasted with our coming resurrection bodies - they are likened to solid buildings, in this case of an eternal nature. The "great exchange" happens when these mortal bodies will be replaced by our resurrection bodies at Christ's return. Whether in our tent or our building; i.e., in our temporary or permanent body, our aim and goal is to please Christ.
