Christ in You, the Hope of Glory

Embed

If repentance and faith is necessary for salvation, then how can a person know if all of his sins are forgiven both past, present, and future. At the moment of conversion, a radical change takes place in a twinkling of an eye. The omnipotent God takes out the heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh that can please God. There are at least three things that happen at the very moment when God begins a new work of creation in the sinner. He produces life in the believer where death once resided. He infuses the soul with light and dispels the darkness. God imputes righteousness on the sinner’s account and fills the sinner’s heart with love where hatred toward God and man were enthroned. God’s work in the heart is for His own glory and produces a love for all people.
